If you are a bride interested in scheduling a tasting here is some information for you...
1) We can only schedule bridal tastings on one Sunday a month.
2) We require a $25.oo payment to schedule a bridal tasting, this includes a 1 hour meeting and a sampler pack with an assortment of flavors.
(The reason I require the fee is that I now spend my Sunday's entirely meeting with bride's away from my baking schedule and family, and the cost applied strictly covers the cost of my time and the supplies used for your gourmet sampler. It was also becoming an issue of dealing with no-show brides, implementing the tasting fee has reduced this to none. That said if you do choose to go with me, the $25.oo fee is simply deducted from your wedding cake cost.)
3) Due to overwhelming responce it is usually up to a one month wait for meetings.
4) We generally meet at a safe place like Starbuck's for our Bridal consults as our off-site commercial kitchen is zoned for catering only, and is NOT a store front. We can also plan on meeting at your home if the schedule allows. We do not EAT the samples at Starbucks, they are packaged and sent with you after your consult to enjoy (and critique) in your own home.
We have not met with any resistance thus far with brides on this policy and please consider I am a 1 man (woman) show and I simply am unable to do everyone's weddings and special events without establishing some sort of limits due to time constraints.
The sampler pack includes 5 flavors and are usually these flavors...
*Red Velvet Cake
*Godiva Suisse Chocolate Cake
*Wedding White Almond Sour Cream Cake *Carrot Cake
*Lemon Cake(Sometimes Strawberry Cake is substituted for the Lemon Cake)
